Dyaus Gems is a specialist large-scale rough trader. The company's main activity is sourcing rough for precise manufacturing assortments. It mainly targets manufacturers who have specialist polished programme requirements, and the emerging manufacturing sector.
We sources its rough diamonds from direct mining companies and first hand and leading rough diamond traders through KPCS (Kimberly process Certification Scheme). This makes the sourcing extremely competitive and ensures consistent supply of polished diamonds. This is enabled by the rich contacts developed by the company through extensive travel and networking with top suppliers.
To combat conflict diamonds and to standardize mining practices, the international community established a policy in 2000 which was a zero-tolerance policy against conflict diamonds and known as Kimberley process.
We support the Kimberley process, which is an international process to track diamonds. We only work with reputable suppliers who value conflict-free sourcing and ethical business practices.
